It’s not often we find a sponsor who’s not only willing to donate beer for awesome attendees. It’s even less often, we find one that has a reference to Wolfenstein. Aardwolf Brewing Company is both of those things! They have an awesome new tap room at 1461 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207, and we actually saw a beer on tap named the “wolfenstein” once! How awesome is that!?
Anyways, they’re contributing to the Free Beer hours that will be up for GAAM Show attendees on Dec 7! Cowabunga and cheers!
Without Three Muses Clothing, GAAM wouldn’t be where it is today. But that’s a looooong story for another time. Right now we’re gonna talk about them because they’re an awesome supporter of the GAAM Show, and they’ll be doing some super cool giveaways at the show! Why? Just because they looooove cosplayers and gamers!
What? You don’t know who Three Muses Inspired Clothing is? Well they’re a unique costume and corset boutique that carries a variety of ready-to-wear costumes, corsets, pin-up wear and accessories. Aardwarks are cool, and werewolves are cool…so AARDWOLF Brewery (a great microbrewery in Jacksonville, Florida) has to be the coolest of the cool. And now they’re supporting the gaming and arts communities by contributing to Teenage Mutant Ninja GAAM Show! You know what that means…there’s going to be FREE BEER HOURS! We’ll announce specifics to exactly what time later, but in the mean time, you should check out Aardwolf on facebook, and please, say thanks for us. They don’t have to do this, but they did. And that says a lot about the kind of people they are.
Thank you, Aardwolf Brewery. From the bottom of our little GAAM Ninja hearts.
Team Ninja has jumped in a and is donating some really awesome prizes to the GAAM Charity Show! I can’t wait to announce what they are! ARG! IT’S KILLING ME!!!!
Seriously though, Team Ninja was super cool and charitable about this whole event. I can’t express my gratitude enough. So tell them thank you on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/teamninjastudio or on twitter at https://twitter.com/TeamNINJAStudio.
Like most of you, I love Valve. They don’t know how to make a bad game. As a matter of fact, their design is so impressive, that when I taught I would shove Portal and Portal 2 down the throats of design students just to observe and learn from it.
Needless to say, we at GAAM are truly, truly honored to have Valve as a donor for the Charity Auction portion of the GAAM Show. We’ll post up pics soon, and no, it’s not Half Life 2 Episode 3 related. I’m just saying that right now and getting that out of the way.
Thank you Valve, for your support, and your charitable donation.
You can visit Valve at http://www.valvesoftware.com/.
I have such fond memories of Square-Enix. Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior were the first RPG games I fell in love with as a child, and I still have flashbacks of warm memories anytime I hear that Final Fantasy theme.
So I need to give a HUGE thank you to Square-Enix, and especially to their president, Mike Fischer. They donated a ton of items just to spread goodwill. They didn’t want anything in return, they didn’t ask any questions, they just new that this was going to help gaming culture and children, and they were in.
Three Muses Inspired Clothing is a unique costume boutique located in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville, FL. We carry a variety of costumes, corsets, lingerie, hosiery, wings, wigs, hats, gloves, shoes and costume accessories.
EA gets a lot of negative press from gamers. But they were actually the first gaming company to jump on board and support this event. So thank you EA, you’re A OK in my book! (Especially because we play Tiger Woods at work. It’s AWESOME!)
